Session history
All user session events from protected machines are audited and saved in the UserLock database. This report type retrieves its data from this UserLock database and is designed to display, export and print a historical view of all user sessions on your network.
'Configuration' section
Main filters
- Session types: Selects the type of session for which the report will display history. Multi-selection is authorized.
- Event types:
- Full sessions: Displays sessions having a logon and a corresponding logoff.
- Logon without logoff: Displays sessions without corresponding logoff.
- Logoff without logon: Displays sessions without corresponding logon.
- Logon denied by UserLock: Displays logons rejected by UserLock.
- Logon denied by Active Directory: Displays logons rejected by Active Directory.
- Sub session: Allows you to not count the time during which a session is locked. - User name: Allows you to display only sessions of the selected user.
- Domain name: Allows you to display only sessions of the selected domain.
- Computer name: Allows you to display only sessions from the selected machine.
- Client address: Allows you to display only sessions from the selected client IP address.
- Client name: Allows you to display only sessions from the selected client name.
- Country: Allows you to display the country from which the connection was established.
For the filters "User Name", "Domain Name", "Computer Name", "Client Address" and "Client Name", you can also type:
- a single name and use the wildcard character "*".
- several names (separated by commas). In this case, you can not use the wildcard character "*".
Advanced filters
- Number of computers: Used to calculate workstation usage. If nothing is specified, UserLock calculates workstation usage with the number of computers displayed in the generated report.
- Display active sessions at: Displays only active sessions at a specified time and date.
- Working hours:
- Workstation usage during workstation hours only: Calculates the average workstation usage.
- Display sessions 'outside working hours / inside working hours': Only sessions concerning the selected criteria will be displayed. You will have to specify working hours through the following parameters.
- Days / Begin / End: Allows you to define working hours when required by 'Display sessions' and 'Workstation usage during workstation hours only' options.
'Group filter' section

'Sort/Group' section
Enable this section to group displayed data on the report and its associated sort order.

Available groups are:
- User: The name of the user owning the session.
- Domain: The name of the domain the user owning the session is from.
- Computer: The name of the machine on which the session is open.
- Client: The name of the client from which the session is open.
- Client external IP: The external IP address from which the session is open. -
The sort order 'Ascending' or 'Descending' can be applied on:
- 'Logon time'.
- 'Logoff time'.

Print and export
From the result preview you can decide to print the report or export it to a different format type using actions available in the 'Quick access' panel or the context menu.
