I do not receive push notifications on my Xiaomi smartphone
On Xiaomi smartphones, you need to manually enable the setting "Display pop-up windows while running in the backround" to allow push notifications to be send when your phone is locked. To do this go to Settings -> Apps -> Manage apps -> UserLock Push -> Other permissions -> Display pop-up windows while running in the background.
