UserLock Frequently Asked Questions

I get the following warning in the system event log of my UserLock Server: 3034:MRxSmb or 4:Security-Kerberos.

The problem is not directly related to UserLock.

The warning is generated when the UserLock deployer tries to contact a specific unavailable workstation listed in Active Directory whose IP addresse is sometimes used by another computer. In consequence when the server contacts a workstation A, an answer comes from a workstation B and this warning is generated.

To fix it you just need to remove all “ghost” computers listed in your Active Directory.

As a workaround you can set the CheckIPConflict advanced setting to True (press F7 in UserLock). This means that the underlying issue remains but no error message will be displayed by UserLock.
