Sending FileAudit emails to Slack

Slack is a great tool for improving communication within your organization. Integrating Slack with FileAudit will help you to be more reactive when a notification such as a mass alert is triggered. Any message from FileAudit (alerts, scheduled reports, and warning messages) can be sent to a shared channel or direct message in Slack.

1. To do this, you first need to set up a forwarding email, or connect the Email app to your workspace. Read this Slack documentation page to know more.
2. Once done, Slack will give you an email address. For example: v7a9o2l8n8k8v8g7@acme.slack.com.
3. Then you can simply add this email address as recipient to any alert, scheduled report, or for the warning feature.
