The IS Decisions team have made a new series of video tutorials on FileAudit – the file system auditing software.

The Video Tutorials are designed to further complement existing resources that include support, documentation and a help section that includes your frequently asked questions.

A how-to on Windows File System Auditing

The full tutorial playlist is now available. Each episode in the series is only around 3-4 minutes long, making it easy to learn and discover all the software’s capabilities.

It guides the user from installation and basic settings to more advanced features such as scheduling reports, multi-criteria filtering, the exclusion of irrelevant access events and the delegation of auditing to non-IT users.

Showcasing a file auditing tool that’s so easy to use

Released in 2013, FileAudit 4 offered a sleek, fast and innovative interface that makes securing files in your Windows environment intuitive and easy. Since then, further updates have included mass access alerts, IP address and machine name tracking, irregular access time alerts, an automated response to specific alerts and most recently, the ability to extend file auditing to data stored in the cloud.

The first and only file auditing solution Microsoft-certified for compliance with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, the software was designed by IS Decisions to make file auditing faster, smarter and more efficient – regardless of whether users are working on PCs, laptops or tablets.

Having been reviewed as “excellent”, according to PC Mag and described as “an easy yet robust tool for auditing files and folders that reside on Windows systems”, the Lead Analyst went on to add;

“The interface offers an at-a-glance view of everything that’s happening with audited data in a Windows-8 like, tile based look that I would argue is even more professional and polished with uniform colors.”

Samara Lynn, Lead Analyst for Networking, PCMag

With a touch-ready user interface comprised of ‘live tiles’ which link to the solution’s features and update in real time, FileAudit offers a simple more user-friendly way to safeguard and secure fiiles within an organization.

“Our users expect their software to look sharp and modern. The solutions we develop at ISDecisions aim to combine the powerful security today’s business world mandates with the innovative simplicity the modern user expects. We feel that FileAudit4 certainly succeeds in achieving this objective.”

François Amigorena, CEO IS Decisions

P.S. If you use and enjoy working with FileAudit, please take just a few minutes to write a review on Capterra, G2IT Central Station or Spiceworks.

What suggestions have you got on how we can make FileAudit even better for your organization?
