The IS Decisions team have made a new series of video tutorials on FileAudit – the file system auditing software.
A how-to on file auditing
The full tutorial playlist is now available. Each episode in the series is only around 3-4 minutes long, making it easy to learn and discover all the software’s capabilities.
It guides the user from installation and basic settings to more advanced features such as scheduling reports, multi-criteria filtering, the exclusion of irrelevant access events and the delegation of auditing to non-IT users.
Showcasing a file auditing tool that’s so easy to use
Released in 2013, FileAudit 4 offers a sleek, fast and innovative interface that makes securing files in your Windows environment intuitive and easy.
The first and only file auditing solution Microsoft-certified for compliance with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, the software was designed by IS Decisions to make file auditing faster, smarter and more efficient – regardless of whether users are working on PCs, laptops or tablets.
Having been reviewed as “excellent”, according to PC Mag and described as “an easy yet robust tool for auditing files and folders that reside on Windows systems”, the Lead Analyst went on to add;
“The interface offers an at-a-glance view of everything that’s happening with audited data in a Windows-8 like, tile based look that I would argue is even more professional and polished with uniform colors.”
Samara Lynn, Lead Analyst for Networking, PCMag
With a touch-ready user interface comprised of ‘live tiles’ which link to the solution’s features and update in real time, FileAudit offers a simple more user-friendly way to safeguard and secure fiiles within an organization.
“Our users expect their software to look sharp and modern. The solutions we develop at ISDecisions aim to combine the powerful security today’s business world mandates with the innovative simplicity the modern user expects. We feel that FileAudit4 certainly succeeds in achieving this objective.”
François Amigorena, CEO IS Decisions
