Dear Sir, dear Madam,
January brings us to the beginning of a brand new year – a year filled with exciting new challenges and possibilities.
2006 was a big year in IT, and 2007 should be no different. Many of you will be concerned with key issues like Windows Vista and/or Exchange Server 2007 migration, Office 2007 deployment, network access security, sensitive data breach prevention, regulations compliance, etc. – and IS Decisions is working hard to help you to address all of these concerns.
I wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
Warm regards,
François Amigorena
President & CEO

IS Decisions’ blog is online!
We created a blog to be a forum for information not only about EvenTrigger, FileAudit, RemoteExec, UserLock or WinReporter from IS Decisions’ perspective, but also from our users’ and partners' perspective.
We will not make this blog an advertising forum, although we will try to keep users, partners, and those curious informed about particular events related to IS Decisions as well as to compliance, security and change management issues in Windows-based IT infrastructures.
If you have something you would like us to comment on, or some ideas you would like to share, please let us know. We understand that listening to the IT community is what has led to the success we have had to date, and we want to keep listening, and listen even more.

CyTRAP made SkypeKiller its Lab’s Choice
CyTRAP, a Swiss IT security company, recently made SkypeKiller (IS Decisions freeware to remotely uninstall Skype throughout a network) its Lab’s Choice, and has a very positive appreciation of our tool:
It is probably a good move to run SkypeKiller in the “detect only” mode first and record the results.
Thereafter, use a network monitoring tool to check on bandwidth usage during peek hours for the firm’s network.
Then once again, run SkypeKiller and remove listed installations. Once the Clean step is completed, running the network detection tool again will give one the opportunity to see roughly how much bandwidth a particular VOIP or IP telephony application/s was/were using...
